The Wine & Culinary Experience Hosted by Legal Aid and Defender Association

The Legal Aid and Defender Association hosted an evening of wine tasting and customized wine pairings that helped raise money to protect the basic rights and liberties of all people in our community!

Proceeds from the event went to support the “Clean Slate”, an initiative helping Detroit area residents who are significantly disadvantaged by criminal records, especially convictions from decades ago. The recent expansion of the expungement eligibility will greatly increase the number of individuals that are eligible to have their records expunged.
